The TEP 40UIR and TEP 60UIR are high performance DC/DC converters qualified to EN 50155 and EN 61373 standards for rugged industrial and railway applications. The converters ultra-wide 12:1 input voltage range allows the converter to be an all-in-one solution for applications requiring separate converters to operate on multiple input voltage ranges. These converters are offered in the compact quarter brick (2.3 x 1.45 x 0.5") metal package. An internal circuit extends hold-up time, eliminating the need of expensive high voltage capacitors at the input, a 25V capacitor can cover the entire input range, effectively reducing cost, size and inrush current. Additional features include: high efficiency up to 91%; operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C I/O-isolation voltage of 3,000 VAC; adjustable under voltage lockout function; remote on/off and adjustable outputs.
