This Privacy Policy describes how we, Traco Electronic AG (hereinafter "Traco Electronic", "we" or "us"), collect and process personal data in the context of the provision of our services (as defined in Section 2 below).

4. Automated decision-making
We do not carry out any automated decision-making as part of the processing of your Personal Data on the website.
5. Cross-border transfer
Basically, all data on our servers is processed in Switzerland, from where our website is also operated. In some cases, in particular regarding our service providers or group companies, certain registered offices are outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland, for example in the USA, so that the applicable laws ensure a different national level of data protection than European or Swiss data protection law. In the case of a data transfer to such countries, we ensure (e.g., by concluding corresponding contracts) that the service providers concerned guarantee an adequate level of data protection, which is comparable to the legislation in Switzerland. A copy of the respective appropriate and reasonable warranties is available upon request.
6. Duration of the processing
Your Personal Data will be stored by us and/or our service providers, exclusively to the extent necessary for the fulfilment of our obligations. The Personal Data is stored exclusively for the period necessary in order to achieve the purposes for which the Personal Data was collected. This is done in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation. If we no longer need your Personal Data, we will delete it and/or take the necessary measures to anonymise it properly. This does not apply insofar as we are obliged to retain the data for a longer period, in particular in order to comply with statutory retention obligations. For example, Personal Data contained in contracts, communications and business letters may be subject to statutory retention obligations that may require retention of up to 10 years. In addition, we generally delete other Personal Data 5 years after termination of the respective contractual relationship between you and Traco Electronic.
7. Rights of Data Subjects
In accordance with and to the extent provided for by applicable law (as in cases where the GDPR applies), you have the right to access, rectify and delete your Personal Data, the right to restrict processing or the right to object to us processing your data; furthermore, you might have the right to receive certain Personal Data for transmission to another controller (data portability). If the processing of your data is based on consent, you also have the right to withdraw that consent. Please note, however, that we reserve the right to assert legal restrictions on our part. Furthermore, each Data Subject has the right to assert his or her rights in court, or to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority, in accordance with the applicable laws.
8. Data security
We have taken appropriate technical and organisational security measures in order to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access and misuse while you are visiting Traco Electronic, such as internal policies, IT and network security solutions, access controls and restrictions, encryption of data carriers and transmissions, inspections and penetration tests by third parties.
9. Amendments to this Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. The version published on our website at any given time always applies.
