The TRN 3SM Series comprises 3 Watt fully regulated, high performance DC/DC converters. They come in a compact cubical package of only 1.07 cm³. Full load operation is reliable up tp 65°C environment temperature. With 1’600 VDC I/O-isolation voltage, and short current protection they cover a wide range of application when space is limited. The input of the converters is designed for a wide voltage range (2:1) and minimum load is not required. The functional I/O-isolation system is designed to meet IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 (not certified) with a test voltage (60 s) of 1600 VDC.

TRACOPOWER completed successfully in July, 2006 the process of producing all power supply and dc/dc converter fully compliant to the European RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC). Excepted are those products which have been removed from the actual sales program (obsolete products).
The EU RoHS Directive and the China RoHS both denominate identical Substances and MCV’s (Maximum Concentration Values).
The current TRACO POWER RoHS declaration therefore satisfies the EU RoHS Directive as well as the China RoHS Regulation.
All TRACOPOWER surface mount devices (SMD) are qualified for lead-free reflow solder process under the condition that the product is handled in accordance (J-STD-033B) to its moisture sensitivity level (IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020D.1).
We generally do not recommend washing or cleaning electronic components. You should avoid it, if it is not absolutely necessary. Please refer to cleaning guide.
